The sensory set consists of 6 pairs of hardwood triangular prisms that can be paired according to matching sounds and 6 rainbow-colored note pictures for checking. The colored pictures on one side of the prism allow the child to engage in the activity independently. Playing with prisms allows children to learn the difference between muffled and loud sounds. This sound activity develops hearing, attention, and patience while searching for matching pairs.
Prisms can also be used as building blocks. And what a fun sound it makes when such a musical tower falls! Using prisms as building blocks develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
The set consists of 12 wooden prisms with 6 different sounds.
With adult supervision, playing with prisms can start from 12-18 months.
