Task set - weather

Download .pdf tasks suitable not only for spring! In them, you will find different weather images with names and a weather diary that you can fill out for the entire month. 

You can use weather images in several different ways depending on the child's age:

• by discussing images, their meanings, and what different weathers are called;
• An image + a word together can be used both for familiarization with letters and for practice for beginner readers;
• By cutting the word separately, you can play a pairing game with children who are already reading.

This weather diary can become a fun part of the daily routine, encouraging you to pause for a moment and curiously look out the window. Or maybe even go outside? March is very grateful for weather observation, as you can experience most different weather practically and discuss countless various questions:

• What kind of clothes or accessories do we need under certain conditions?
• How does a rainbow appear?
• What is lightning, and what is thunder?
• Why do snowflakes melt so quickly? And why do puddles no longer freeze?

By discussing the daily weather, you can also connect the names of the days of the week and the month for repetition.
