Tools for fine motor skills - BIG

€15,45

Sensory games give children the opportunity to explore and learn through touch, and with the right tools, even more possibilities are created: skills in using a spoon (picking up and transferring) are developed, differences in volume are introduced, and the pincer grip is developed with both fingers and tools.

These movements are particularly important for developing further independence; they are the first steps towards practicing eating, serving, dressing, drawing, and writing, as well as self-control and self-regulation. Only by trying (and spilling more than once!) can the difference in volume be understood and the limit when it is time to stop be felt.

We recommend combining the tools with wool balls

The product is recommended for use under adult supervision.

SUITABLE for children FROM
From around 12 months, children can begin exploring the tools with adult supervision. It’s important to select a sensory bin filler that is safe for their stage of development, especially if they are still exploring the world by putting things in their mouth.
size

Spoon: 9.5 cm

Shovel: 9.5 cm

Honey spoon: 10.5 cm

Forceps: 15 cm

Material
Natural wood, bamboo.
Care
The tools are made from untreated wood. They are suitable for a variety of sensory play, but we recommend using them with dry fillers. If used with wet materials, dry thoroughly afterward. If needed, wash with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry immediately.
