These game discs are wooden discs that we have created for kids to explore different themes and activities. The discs are designed to be used with Stapelstein® Original pebbles: just place the disc in the inverted pebble. These discs are the key to even more games with the already beloved pebbles! They are designed to develop both fine motor skills and imagination through scenario games, so they are suitable for children of all ages from ~ one year old (use small parts only with adult supervision).

Educational value

Fine motor skills and coordination development - the child must insert the disc, throw a ball into the hole or adjust and observe its movement by moving the pebble. The holes of different sizes are combined with balls of various sizes and textures, straws, sticks or other objects found at home and outdoors.

Critical thinking – the game teaches children to understand the relationship between cause and effect: how to tilt/turn the game so that the ball reaches the hole, what tool to use to make it easier to transfer balls or beans to the mouth, etc.

Creativity and problem solving – the child can create various versions of the tracks, use discs with pebbles for structures, decorate with additional elements (e.g. flowers, straws) and create their own compositions.

Concentration and patience – the game motivates them to patiently try again and again, observe and correct their actions.

Aesthetic and sensory experience – wood, smooth shapes and colored pebbles provide a pleasant feeling of touch and play.

These discs are not only a simple game, but also a material that teaches delicate movement, strategy, patience and experimentation through the physical relationship between action and result.

If you want to use Stapelstein® products for balance games, it is best to do so on a flat and non-slip surface. Only use Stapelstein® elements to the extent that you feel safe. Stapelstein® products are water-resistant and can therefore be used for water games. However, they are not a substitute for flotation devices! Small children playing in water with Stapelstein® products must be supervised.

This wooden knife is extremely light, designed to be easy for a child to hold and use, and is suitable for children aged one year and older.
